The coach of the young national team, Nikola Rakojević, commented on the defeat against Finland under Gorica (2:1) in the qualifiers for the European Championship.
Montenegro was close to a draw, equalized in the continuation through Viktor Đukanović, but the Finns scored three minutes before the end and took the victory.
"We deserved a different result, the Finns were more aggressive and accurate in passing. The presence of Đukanović alone showed what one player meant to the national team. We did not do well in terms of results in this cycle, we expected more, and today we deserved much more," he said after match selector Nikola Rakojević for RTCG.
