If Budućnost remains without a title this season, then it could look for reasons for that in the matches against Mladost DG.
Tonight, in the 28th round of the Meridianbet First Montenegrin Football League, the team from Donja Gorica defeated the current champions at the City Stadium (2:1) and defeated them for the second time this season.
In four meetings this season against Mladost, Budućnost recorded only one victory, one match ended in a draw, and after tonight's setback, Mladen Milinković's team has three points less than Dečić, who after the triumph in Bijelo Polje over Jedinstvo (2:0) assumed a leadership position.
Tuzani are definitely in a better situation ahead of the derby, which will be played next Tuesday at the "DG Arena".
MARAS SHOCKED THE BLUES, MATIC CONTINUES THE SERIES
Bubućnost was the first to score against Mladost. After a long ball from Orahovac, Igor Ivanović assisted with his head, and Đorđe Despotović caught a volley from the edge of the penalty area and scored a nice goal in the fourth minute.
Before Despotović's goal, Suad Ličina's net was shaken by Ivanović, but the goal was disallowed due to offside, while Aleksa Maraš threatened on the other side.
It was Maraš who was the director of the great turnaround and victory of Mladost. Five minutes after Budućnosti's goal, the visitors' footballer equalized, beating Pavličić on the second attempt, and for the second goal and a total reversal in the 31st minute, one shot was enough - for the 11th goal of this season! Only Žarko Korać from Jedinstvo (15) scored more on the list of scorers.
Mladost was more dangerous in the first half, Maraš was in a very good mood, he had a chance for the third goal, but it was saved by Pavličić, who stopped Anđelko Jovanović.
Until the end of the first half, Buducnost had chances through Miloš Raičković and Petr Grbić, but Ličina's net did not shake.
In the continuation, Budućnost had the initiative, after a good ball by Vasilij Adžić, Despotović and Ivanović failed to put it into the net, and Balša Sekulić and Ivan Bojović were inaccurate.
However, the visitors had the best chance in the second half - a big mistake was made by Budućnosti goalkeeper Pavličić, he lost the ball outside his penalty area, but Jovanović did not punish him. After his shot, the ball went over the goal, and Boris Došljak did not use the opportunity in the finish.
And on the eve of the derby in the next round, the leader is Dečić, who easily defeated Jedinstvo in Bijelo Polje - 2:0.
Tuzani scored a goal each in both halves, and they took the lead in the 21st minute - the visiting team's attack flowed from the right side, Draško Božović crossed, and Bojan Matić scored the goal with a header from ten meters away.
Matić arrived in Dečić in the winter transfer window, in the second part of the season he played nine games and scored seven goals. After this match, the former Partizan striker ranks sixth on the scorers' list.
The final score in Bijelo Polje was set at the beginning of the second half. In the 46th minute, Matić combined with Oliver Šarkić, who threw the ball into the empty space, and Andrej Bajović came in from the second plan and placed the ball into the net with his left foot.
VICTORY OF SUTJESKA AND MORNAR BEFORE THE DUEL IN NIKŠIĆ
Sutjeska continues with victories. The people of Nikšić beat Jezero at home (2:1), achieved their fourth triumph in five matches under the leadership of Miljan Radović and kept the third place in the table.
Sutjeska took the lead early - Marko Vučić put the ball in from a corner in the 12th minute, and Anto Babić was safe from five meters away.
Three minutes later, after a mistake by goalkeeper Stefan Kastratović, Veljko Batrović had a chance, but he shot over the goal, and in the 24th minute, Miljan Radović's team scored the second goal. Vasko Kalezić exchanged several passes with Igor Pajović and shook the net.
In the first half, the visitors had the best chance in the 32nd minute through Senid Vučetović, who hit the crossbar.
In the continuation, Jezero was more specific, Ermin Imamović did not use a good chance, and in the 72nd minute, Marko Šimun scored a great goal from a free kick and set the final score.
Sutjeska is closely followed by Mornar, who defeated Petrovac 1:0 today at "Topolica". The home team scored the only goal in the 55th minute when the national team player, Demir Škrijelj, shot from the left side and beat Marko Kordić.
Sutjeska and Mornar will meet in the next round in Nikšić.
An important triumph was also recorded by Arsenal, who defeated Rudar 4:2 in Tivat after a turnaround.
The guests took the lead in the 22nd minute when Andrija Bulatović beat Bojan Zogović from about twenty meters away.
But the home team quickly turned things around - first, Luka Maraš lobbed Balša Radanović in the 26th minute, and five minutes later, after Marko Merdović's cross, Šaleta Kordić scored with a header.
By the end of the half, Maras scored another goal, and the visitors reduced the score in the 75th minute when Bismarck Appia scored from the penalty spot.
