Milan captain Davide Calabria was suspended today for two games due to the direct red card he received in the derby of the Italian football championship against Inter.
As reported by the Italian media, the Serie A disciplinary judge determined the punishments for the players who were sent off last night in the final match between Milan and Inter in the 33rd round of Serie A, after which Inter won the championship.
Calabria was sent off in the fifth minute of stoppage time for punching opposing player Davide Fratezi in the face and received a two-game suspension.
In the fourth minute of stoppage time, there was a fight between Milan player Theo Hernandez and Inter player Denzel Dumfries, after which both of them received a red card. They were suspended for one game each.
The disciplinary judge stated that they grabbed each other by the neck, so he fined them 10.000 euros each.
Inter beat Milan 2:1 as a guest last night and won the 20th championship title, as they have a 17-point lead over second-placed Milan, five rounds before the end of Serie A.
