Several media from Serbia announced that at the Zlatibor Cup, an international soccer tournament for children aged 7 to 14, there was an incident involving the parents of the players of Stari aerodrome from Podgorica and Integral from Moscow.
One of the younger fidball clubs from Montenegro turned to "Vijesti" with the desire to explain what exactly happened in the final of the tournament held on a famous Serbian mountain.
The Stari aerodrome emphasizes that they distance themselves from the incident, that they regret that it happened in front of the children of both clubs and that he was off the field, so he cannot be linked to the Podgorica club as the initiator of this event.
As they say, for the sake of truth, they have to point out several facts and untruths in the texts that have been shared.
"First, it is not true that the incident was caused by the parents of our children, but by the parents of children from Moscow. Namely, several parents of the children of FK Integral physically attacked one of our parents who was among them at the time, throwing him to the floor. threw bottles and stones, and threw more blows. The other parents of the children of our club reacted to protect the said parent and asked the security to call the police. There is evidence for these allegations and we are ready to we present them to the competent authorities," the announcement reads.
The second, as they state, is the protest and great regret over the behavior of the coach of FC "Integral" from Moscow.
"After their goal, he reacted in an extremely inappropriate, i.e., uncultured way towards the stand where our fans were. Such vulgar gestures cannot be publicly described", according to the Stari aerodrome.
As they say, the third item is that it is not true that the boy was injured in a fight or any part of the incident mentioned in the text, because as they claim, the incident was off the field and outside the stands.
"On the reaction of our coach during, again, the unsportsmanlike behavior of the coach from Moscow, who, among other things, during our free kick stood behind his goal and thus left his place for about 50 minutes, repeatedly entered the field, jumped over the fence and went to fight physically Further, the referee gave a red card to our coach, which we overcame by only sending the assistant coach to continue the game, after which the referee stopped the game," the statement said.
They emphasize that they reject with indignation the statements of the mother who made a statement that the children of the Old Airport were "showing a double-headed eagle".
"It is a notorious lie and an attempt to draw our children into political waters. We will not allow that to the lady in question, nor to anyone else. Our club is open to all peoples and nations, and our club only divides people into humans and non-humans," they say from club.
They add that all the mentioned statements are also on the video of the match that they have.
"And, which we do not share with the public in such a sensationalistic way, especially for the sake of our children and the public, who should not be led into various misconceptions. Once again, we would like to express our regret for the incident that happened because the children are there for football, while the coaches are there to lead the game, the referees to judge fairly, and the parents to enjoy watching their children, and not to express their frustrations at such events. We will continue to come to Serbia because we have a large number of sports friends such as FK Vojvodina, FK Spartak Subotica, FK Crvena Zvezda, FK Partizan and others, which speaks about us and our attitude towards sports Serbia," the announcement states.
The Stari Aerodrom football club also points out that it condemns any kind of violence.
"Especially if it is violence between children, against children or in front of children. Our club is based on sports values and we guide and educate our children in that direction. We are aware that all our children may not be footballers, but they will all be people. Sport , and especially football should contribute to that," they conclude in the statement.
