City quite easily defeated their biggest rival both times in the season, and were better last year in the FA Cup final.
- The double crown is what we want. We know that it has never happened in history that City and United play in the final two years in a row. Of course, we are doing better in the last ten years, but we respect the history of our opponents, which is huge. Now history gives us a chance to do something that no one has done before - I hope that is an additional motivation for my players. No one has been champion four times in a row, no one has reached the double crown two years in a row - we wouldn't be expected if it was as easy as some think - said Guardiola.
In the red part of Manchester, the situation is completely different. Many believe that Erik ten Hag will be replaced whether he wins the cup or not. The British media note that even before the last match of the season, the Dutchman has no information whether he is closer to staying or leaving "Old Trafford".
- I came to win trophies - in sports everything comes down to winning, and we have a chance to win the second trophy in two seasons - said Ten Haag, who won the English League Cup with United last year.
The "Red Devils" are not only playing for the title, but also for placement in the Europa League.
- We did not want such an end in the Premier League - added the former coach of Ajax and mentioned his own future:
