Spain coach Luis de la Fuente announced today the list of 29 football players and plans to take a rejuvenated team to the European Championship in Germany.
De la Fuente, among others, invited Barcelona's young players, 16-year-old Lamin Jamal, 17-year-old Pau Cubarsi and 21-year-old Fermin Lopes.
Until the competition in Germany, the selector will have to leave out three players from the team, in order to lead the final 26.
"They have talent and motivation. They are very versatile players. Fermin will take a step forward with this call-up. I hope it will be useful for them and they will show their potential," De la Fuente said in Madrid.
Ajose Perez from Betis is on the list, as well as Real Madrid striker Joselu and Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, as well as 38-year-old Jesus Navas from Sevilla.
The selector did not invite Marco Asensio from Paris Saint-Germain, Pablo Sarabia from Wolverhampton and Gerardo Moreno from Villarreal.
Spain will play in Germany for a record fourth title of the European champion. In the tournament, which is played from June 14 to July 14, Spain will play in Group B with Italy, Albania and Croatia.
"It is a very difficult group, but we are ready. We will fight to be among the contenders for the title," said De la Fuente.

Defensive footballers: Dani Carvajal (Real Madrid), Jesus Navas (Sevilla), Emerick Laporte (Al Nasr), Robin Le Norman (Real Sociedad), Nacho Fernandes (Real Madrid), Dani Vivian (Atletico Bilbao), Pau Cubarsi (Barcelona), Alejandro Grimaldo (Bayer Leverkusen) and Mike Cucurella (Chelsea).
Midfield players: Rodrigo (Manchester City), Martin Subimendi (Real Sociedad), Mikel Merino (Real Sociedad), Fabian Ruiz (Paris Saint-Germain), Pedri (Barcelona), Marcos Llorente (Atletico Madrid), Aleish Garcia (Girona), Alex Baena (Villarreal ) and Fermin Lopes (Barcelona).
Forwards: Ferran Torres (Barcelona), Dani Olmo (Leipzig), Nico Williams (Atletico Bilbao), Alvaro Morata (Atletico Madrid), Joselu (Real Madrid), Mikel Ojarzabal (Real Sociedad), Lamin Jamal (Barcelona) and Ajose Perez (Betis) .
Spain will play friendly matches against Andorra and Northern Ireland ahead of the European Championship.
