Matvey Safonov is the new goalkeeper of Paris Saint-Germain. "Saints" signed a contract with the goalkeeper of Krasnodar and the Russian team until 2029.
Champion Francsuke will pay 25 million euros with the participation of the bonus for the 20-year-old goalkeeper.
Safonov grew up in Krasnodar, made his debut in 2017. In the last season, in 30 appearances in the Russian Premier League, he managed to keep a clean sheet in 11.
Safonov is the most expensive goalkeeper in the Saints' roster, Keylor Naavs came for 15 million and Gianluigi Donaruma as a free agent from Milan.
