Budućnosti football players have been in Moravske Toplice since last night, and today they have already started training on the pitch of the Slovenian lower league team NK Turnišče.
Preparations in Slovenia are the second phase, they will last until July 2, and during that period coach Ivna Brnović will lead 12 training sessions, along with three control matches.
In the "blue" camp, they are very satisfied with the conditions in the spa in the immediate vicinity of the borders of Austria and Hungary.
"We really have all possible conditions to prepare for what lies ahead. We know the preparation plan from the first day, and the most important thing for us is that our players are together and that they are healthy, and already after the first training session it is noticeable that they are ready to work hard The first impressions are more than positive," Brnović said after the first training session in Slovenia.
He and his assistants Srđan Nikić, Ivan Delić, Mihailo Tomković, Veljko Bajković (goalkeeper coach), Milivoj Grbović (fitness coach). From the first day of training, on June 10, he insists on work ethics.
"Work, work and only work... Especially here, where no external factors can influence the players. We have to raise the intensity of work to the maximum, because we want to play like that. We have to train in that way - that everything we do, we work fast: we think fast, we play fast, we make quick decisions, we act homogeneously as a team... It's not easy at all, it takes time, and that's what I told the guys, nothing can be done in one or two training sessions , it's a process that will continue and we hope that we'll get used to it as soon as possible, because we don't have much until the first game in Europe", said the 48-year-old head coach of our club, and added:
"I am optimistic considering the quality of the players and what they have been providing since the start of the preparations. We have a new future, we have a new story in front of us that has a new dimension in the sense and way of playing," Brnović believes.
The "Blues" arrived in Slovenia in the following composition: Milan Mijatović, Filip Domazetović, Ljubomir Đurović, Vasilije Božović, Zarija Mugoša, Ivan Bojović, Adnan Orahovac, Vladan Adžić, Ognjen Gašević, Bodin Tomašević, Miloš Brnović, Luka Mirković, Andrija Bulatović, Lazar Savović, Vladimir Perišić, Danilo Vukanić, Petar Grbić, Milan Vukotić, Andrej Kostić, Igor Ivanović, Matija Jovanović, Petar Vuković, Dragan Grivić, Luka Brajović, Damjan Dakić, Dragutin Saranović, Stefan Đukanović and Andrej Camaj.
A total of 28 players, since Balša Sekulić, Stefano Almeida, Tonći Mujan, Đorđije Pavličić, Petar Sekulović, Uroš Ignjatović, Aleksa Ćetković, Sava Milić and Nikola Vuković left Budućnost in the transfer window, Miloš Dragojević went on loan, while Podgorica remained Stefan Vukčević, Miloš Raičković and Đorđe Despotović...
"Raičkovic and Vukčević are not in the plan, not because they are not good players, but simply because they do not fit into my vision and conception of the team for the next season. We had long negotiations with Despotović, but we did not succeed. He is a top-class player and we will miss him - says Brnović.
Buducnost will play its first warm-up game on June 25 against Maribor, three days later against Zaglebi and on July 1 against Egnatia.
"Our plan is to strengthen ourselves with one point guard and one point guard. I have had discussions with the sports and executive director to agree on terms, and we will also try to hire a left stopper," concluded Brnović.
