Intriguing matches at the start of the European summer await the footballers of Budućnost - with the status of the holder in the draw, the team from Podgorica got a debutant on the international scene, the representative of Kosovo, Mališeva, as a rival in the 1st round of qualification for the Conference League.
That is why the expectations are that the "Blues" will jump over the first hurdle, but Montenegrin club football is in such a bad state, as demonstrated by Dečić's performance in Wales at the start of the Champions League (3:0 defeat by TNS), that the status of favorite is only valid on the draw - on the eve of the first match, which will be played today at 17:XNUMX in Podujevo, Mališeva surely believes that she can emerge victorious from the upcoming doubleheader.
- It will be uncertain, but one thing is certain - nothing will be decided in the first match, everything will be known after the second leg in Podgorica - said Buducnosti coach Ivan Brnović.
There was plenty of time for Brnović and the players to get to know their rival. Mališeva is a team in which two 20-year-olds, young representatives of the Kosovo team, stand out.
- It is a young and quality team, with good individuals, and young Hazrolaj and Bruti stand out in particular - says Brnović.
