Brnović: We didn't stick to the agreement in the second half - that's why we conceded a goal

The players of Budućnosti are in the red after the first match of the first round of qualification for the Conference League.

Podgorica were defeated by Mališeva 1:0 in Podujevo in a match in which they showed two faces - they played well in the first half, and quite the opposite in the second half.

"We played the first half tactically well, we were in some situations from the low and middle zone where we could have reacted better. We created three, four half-chances and there was no indication that things would change going forward. However, we fell physically, then we didn't stick to the agreement tactically either because we tried something forward - to come out high for no reason. I don't know why and from that situation we conceded a goal," said Brnović.

The goal was not met before the rematch, which is next Thursday in Gorica.

"The goal was not to concede a goal and to threaten the rival from the counterattack. Mališeva proved to be a good team, physically ready, that was the deciding factor in the end. "We lost, but we have an active result - in the second leg we will try to make up for what we missed and it will certainly be difficult," concluded Brnović.
