Montenegrin clubs are used to failures on the international stage, and the eventual relegation of Budućnosti from Mališeva from Kosovo in the 1st round of qualification for the League of Conferences would be - quite a failure.
The defeat in the first game (1:0) complicates the matter, so Ivan Brnović's team tonight in Gorica in the second leg (21 p.m.) start the match "with a handicap", they have to chase the difference.
Only by passing to the second round of qualification would the Podgorica club meet the minimum of European ambitions, and that is why tonight's match is crucial, and coach Brnović pointed out that even the near future of the club depends on it.
That's why the soccer players and coaching staff of Budućnost are calling on the fans for help - with their support and the roar from the stands, they say, everything will be easier.
"European matches are the most important, Podgorica and Budućnost live for such nights. That's why I invite the fans to fill the stands, to hear them from the west and the north, so that their roar will carry us to victory and passing on," Brnović is clear.
Andrija Bulatović, a talented 17-year-old in the ranks of the Blues, thinks similarly.
"I believe that in the second leg we will make up for the deficit from the first match and advance to the next round, with the support of our fans who deserve to give them a nice European evening," said Bulatović.
The better of the two matches Buducnost - Mališeva will play in the second round with the Bulgarian team CSKA 1948.
"You will see a different Buducnost, more offensive, more aggressive, better compared to the first match... We are playing at home, in front of our fans, I still believe that we are at least 10-20 percent better team than the opponent and there is no reason not to think positively and optimistically. I'm glad that I realized that in the conversation with the players," added Brnović, who expects Budućnost to retaliate against Mališev in the first game.
"Just a great welcome, the atmosphere at the stadium was pleasant and I want to thank Mališeva for the hospitality. It is up to us to repay our rival with the same measure, if not better, in the second leg".
