Euphoria for the footballer who marked the European Championship!
Barcelona fans have started paying symbolic amounts of money to the club's official TikTok account, in order to raise funds for the purchase of Atletico Bilbao winger, Spain national team member Nick Williams (22).
The Catalan club's interest in the great forward dates back to before the European Championship, and after a great performance in Germany, where Williams helped the "fury" to win the fourth title of European champion, this interest was further strengthened.
So much so that even the fans got involved!
"Sign Niko", "100% we need Nic" and "For Niko Williams", are just some of the comments with donations on Barcelona's TikTok videos.
Williams scored two goals at the EP, including one in the final against England (2:1), and what particularly attracts Barca fans is his superb partnering with Lamin Jamal, the opposite wing, the player who was declared the best young player of the tournament.
Jamal, 17 years old, is a big star of Barcelona.
Catalan fans now want the Jamal-Williams duo in the Barca jersey as well.
According to Transfermarkt, the market value of Williams is around 70 million euros, while Atletik announced that they will not let him go for less than 60 million euros.
Donations on TikTok are more, however, a message to the leaders of Barcelona, because the amounts are really symbolic - they range from five cents to up to one euro.
Barcelona, who finished second in La Liga and were knocked out of the Champions League in the quarter-finals last season, have so far failed to sign a single player during the summer transfer window.
