On a slow flight in the early hours of the morning, the footballers of Buducnosti arrived in Sofia - the city where tomorrow evening (Thursday, 19.30:1948 p.m.) against CSKA XNUMX they will do everything to reach a result that will allow them to decide their European destiny under Gorica, in front of their fans.
"We believe in a positive result, and for us it would be anything but a defeat - that way, in the second leg, we could decide whether to go on," said Ognjen Gašević, the left back of the "blue and whites", from the capital of Bulgaria.
The first match of the 2nd round of the Conference League is played at the "Vasil Levski" stadium, and the clash with Mališev in the previous round showed how decisive the rematch in front of the home fans can be.

"There was a great atmosphere against Mališeva, the stands were well filled... We believe that the atmosphere will be even better in the rematch against CSKA, especially if we get a favorable result tomorrow evening," Gašević added.
CSKA 1948 may be a young club (founded eight years ago), but there is no doubt that it is of better quality than Mališeva, as well as coming from a stronger championship.
"We have analyzed CSKA in detail and it can be said that it is a quality team. However, like every team, they have their flaws and we will try to use them," Gašević explained.
The team from Sofia is entering the European stage for the second time in its short history, after saying goodbye to dreams in the Conference League last season at the first step - with two defeats against FCSB, the former Steaua. He opened the new season in the Bulgarian championship with a draw (0:0) away against Black Sea, one of the strongest teams in this country.
"CSKA 1948 concedes few goals, but also gives few, and that speaks best of how organized they are. We have to be patient, and in my opinion, fewer mistakes will decide," Gašević concluded.
