From the special reporter "Vijesti"
Future second time in Bulgaria, and the first in Sofia - after Ludogorets and Razgrad five years ago, the "blue and white" will now look for a much better European story against CSKA 1948.
Tomorrow (Thursday, 19.30:3) at the "Vasil Levski" stadium, the biggest Montenegrin football club wants a result that would bring them closer to the XNUMXrd round and a new success in the qualification for the Conference League after the triumph over Mališev.
Ivan Brnović's boys against the Kosovo representative in the rematch were calm and concrete, and they shook the rival's net at ideal moments - this time they don't want to "lose their heads" either.
"We will not go head to head, this is only the first half of the doubleheader and we will be careful," said Ivan Brnović, coach of Budućnost.
I CSKA 1948 mora da se pripazi nas
In that "corona season" (2020/21), Buducnost failed to defeat Ludogorets (3:1 defeat), and it is interesting that not a single Montenegrin club managed to register a triumph against the Bulgarians.
"I don't pay much attention to tradition and statistics, although they mean something. We will try to get a result that takes us further. The best thing would be to win in Sofia, but it will not be easy at all. We will try to present ourselves in the best possible light, but the most important thing is the result, the end justifies the means," emphasized Brnović.
The head coach of our Cup winner knows very well that his team is now facing a more serious rival.

"I expect a difficult and uncertain match against a quality and disciplined team, which has a hard time conceding goals, although it is difficult to score them. In any case, they are a team that has quality, a slight advantage in all segments compared to us," Brnović added.
However...
"I have to say what the rivals admit - that in the previous two games, especially in the second leg, we showed quality and that they have to be careful and take care against us," stressed the head of the "blue and white" team.
A completely different guest appearance
The second qualifying round and the second away game - the one in Podujevo against Mališeva (1:0 loss) was far from ideal. How different will the future be now?
"I expect a completely different away game than in Podujevo. We are more experienced for two strong European matches, whatever one thinks of Mališeva. For me, they are a very interesting team, especially technically, they are well led, they have excellent individuals. Those matches meant a lot to us, and each one brings something new," underlined Brnović.
He singled out one of the CSKA players in 1948.
"Captain Radoslav Kirilov is of exceptional quality in one-on-one play, he attacks the space directly towards the goal, he is an assistant and a goal scorer. But above all, CSKA 1948 has team quality, a good coach, a well-coordinated team, although perhaps a little weakened compared to the previous season." added Brnović.
Serikov? I don't think about who is missing
The future will be weakened in Sofia - Russian Ilija Serikov did not get a visa for Bulgaria, a member of the European Union.
"To be honest, I don't think about who we're missing. I'm focused on the players we have - they're the best ones you currently have in the team and I have maximum confidence in all of them and I'm sure that the character they possess can lead us to a good result," he concluded. Brnović.
Serikova will be replaced by the experienced Vladan Adžić among the starting 11 and it will be the only change in the team compared to the rematch with Mališev.
