From the special reporter "Vijesti"
A perfect pitch, unlike the one they left under Gorica, somewhat fresher weather and a stadium that still carries the spirit of the communist era, and which is still best known for the concerts of folk stars from the former Yugoslavia, are the next European destination for the footballers of Budućnost.
Since yesterday, Sofia has been the host of the "blue-whites", who tonight at 19.30:2 p.m. in the probably "theatrical" atmosphere of the "Vasil Levski" stadium expects the first match of the 1948nd round of qualification for the Conference League against CSKA XNUMX.
A rematch and a chance to solve everything in a much different environment under Gorica is the greatest desire of Budućnost on the road in the capital of Bulgaria.
- We will not go head to head, this is only the first half of the doubleheader and we will be careful - he said Ivan Brnović, coach of the Future.
- We want a positive result in Sofia, which would be anything but a defeat, and then to confirm passage in the second leg in Gorica - he added Miloš Brnović, the "blue-white" midfielder.
He is of the same opinion Ognjen Gašević.
- We believe in a positive result, and for us it would be anything but a defeat - that way, in the second leg, we could decide whether to go on - says the left back of Budućnost.
We don't care about tradition
Bubućnost will play in Bulgaria for the second time in history - after Ludogorets and Razgrad, now in Sofia and against a club that has only turned eight years old. And while perhaps CSKA 1948 does not have a great tradition to rely on, our representative will have a great motive to demolish another, negative one, since Montenegrin clubs have never won against Bulgarians in UEFA competitions.
- I don't pay much attention to tradition and statistics, even though they mean something. We will try to reach a result that takes us further. It would be best if we win in Sofia, but it won't be easy at all. We will try to present ourselves in the best possible light, but the most important thing is the result, the end justifies the means - emphasized Ivan Brnović.
And CSKA must take care of us
The Montenegrin club with the most trophies at the start of this year's European story eliminated Mališeva, and the match under Gorica against the rival from Kosovo greatly awakened the confidence and optimism of Brnović's boys.
- A difficult and uncertain match awaits us against a quality and disciplined team, which hardly concedes goals, although it is difficult to score them. In any case, they are a team that has quality, a slight advantage in all segments compared to us, but I have to say what the rivals also admit - that in the previous two games, especially in the second leg, we showed quality and that they must be careful against us. take care - says the head of the profession of the Podgorica club.
Much different than in Podujevo
The second qualifying round and the second away game - the one in Podujevo against Mališeva (1:0 loss) was far from ideal. How different will the future be now?
- I expect a completely different away game than in Podujevo. We are more experienced for two strong European matches, whatever one thinks of Mališeva. For me, they are a very interesting team, especially technically, they are well managed, they have excellent individuals. Those matches meant a lot to us, and each one brings something new - underlined Brnović.
He singled out one of the CSKA players in 1948.
- Captain Radoslav Kirilov is extremely good in one-on-one play, attacks the space directly towards the goal, is an assistant and a goal scorer. But above all, CSKA 1948 has team quality, a good coach, a well-coordinated team, although perhaps a little weaker compared to the previous season - concluded Brnović.
The "blue and white" strategist announced only one change compared to the second match with Malishev - a forced one, since the Russian stopper Ilija Serikov he did not get a visa for Bulgaria, a member state of the European Union. Instead of him, the experienced will take the field Vladan Adžić.
Probable composition: Mijatović - Grivić, Orahovac, Adžić, Gašević - Brnović, A. Bulatović, Vukotić - Ivanović, Grbić, I. Bulatović.
There may be more Budućnost fans in the stands
The story of CSKA 1948 is already well known. The club, which was created as a reaction of some dissatisfied fans and legends of CSKA after the merger with Liteks, however, never managed to attract a large number of supporters. Because of everything, the matches of the young club from Sofia are mostly played in a theatrical atmosphere.
On the other hand, Buducnost will have the support of around 170 of its most ardent fans who left for Sofia by bus yesterday.
When it is known that even the giants from this area FSCB (former Steaua) did not attract a large number of spectators last year, it can easily be expected that Budućnost will have more support at the "Vasil Levski" stadium.
- We rely on the support of the fans, who may be more than the local fans - said Ivan Brnović, coach of Budućnosti.
