The players of Budućnosti are preparing for the rematch of the 2nd round of qualification for the League of Conferences, against the Bulgarian CSKA 1948.
They are preparing for another turnaround - after making up for the one-goal deficit from the first game (0:1) in the rematch against Mališeva from Kosovo in front of their fans, they are preparing to do it against an even more dangerous rival.
A difficult task awaits Ivan Brnović's team, who promise that with great support from the stands, they will "fight for every inch of the pitch" in order to make up for the deficit.
The return match under Gorica will be played on Thursday at 21:XNUMX.
"It is clear that there is no calculation as far as we are concerned. It will be difficult, but I believe that we will be sacrificed like against Mališeva, that we will fight for every centimeter of the field and that we will make up for the deficit", says experienced stopper Adnan Orahovac for the club's website, who is aware that Budućnost will play riskier than in Bulgaria...
"We were more cautious there, especially in the first half, and the conceded goal from our mistake did not break us, because in the second half we played braver, attacked the opponent, created two or three chances... Even if it had been a draw, we would have definitely had to chase one pass goal. And when we score one goal in front of our fans, with their roar we can easily score another... We are aware that we have a chance to eliminate CSKA, we should use it".
CSKA 1948 proved to be an experienced and responsible team, which knows what it wants on the field at all times. After all, that's how he got to Europe, through play, despite finishing eighth in the standings at the end of the regular season.
"The opponent is experienced, well-coordinated, has three or four extra quality individuals... They scored two goals on the weekend and conceded the same amount, but they are generally a solid team that plays on the counter. We have to be careful of that, we must not allow them a quick transition from which they can create a problem for us", said the 33-year-old from Orahovac, who watched CSKA 1948 draw with Spartak from Varna (2:2) the previous weekend.
The blue-white number 55 promises - a fight to the last drop of sweat. After all, you can always expect that from him...
"In addition to dedication, desire, motive, quality... our strong point is definitely that we chase the gap in front of our audience. It is a factor that will certainly affect us, and I guarantee for every player that they will do their best to get to the next round".
The crowd will be on the side of the "blues", the atmosphere from the match with Mališev is still being recounted, now an even bigger spectacle is expected, and the players are ready for a big clash - the first team players with less playing time recently played with Adria yesterday (6:0 ), and did training with the bigger one, so that everyone would be at the optimal level for the rematch...
"It was a beautiful night, and I believe that the new Thursday will bring an even better one. I invite all the fans to be with us, to come in as many as possible, cheer for Buducnost, but also do a good deed, because the money from the tickets will go towards the treatment of our brave friend Fedja. I hope that we will all look forward to the result together and that we will win - both us, and Feđa, and Podgorica, and the whole of Montenegro", pointed out Adnan Orahovac.
