Perišić's efficient summer, Budućnost better than Petrovac at the start of the new season

Five days after they bid farewell to the Conference League against CSKA 1948 in extra time, the "blue and whites" opened the new season of the Meridianbet First Montenegrin League with a victory - in one of the derbies against Petrovac (2:1).

The two rivals played a good match for Montenegrin conditions at the "DG Arena", and the first half already brought several nice actions and chances.

Adnan Bašić and Rodrigo Faust tried for Petrovac, on the other side Ivan Bojović had a great chance, and Miloš Brnović also threatened, only to shake the net in the 32nd minute.

Buducnost took the lead, and the scorer was Perišić - his third goal this summer after shaking the nets of Mališeva and CSKA 1948 in Europe.

The brilliant young Andrija Bulatović masterfully opened up the side for Igor Ivanovic, and the experienced "blue and white" offensive player found Perišić for 1:0.

It was the 77th minute and the first goal of the Russian stopper for Buducnost.

And when it seemed that the match was settled, Petrovac came alive - just three minutes later, after a crowd in the box of the Podgorica team, Dejan Boljević did the best (2:1).

The captain of Petrovac could have given himself and his team a point in stoppage time, when he masterfully caught the volley, but the ball, however, went over the goal.
