The midfielder of the Real Madrid football club, Frenchman Eduardo Kamavinga, sprained the internal ligament of his left knee during training and will probably not be able to play for several Sundays, the Madrid club announced today.
"After the tests performed today on our player Eduardo Kamavinga, he was diagnosed with a sprain of the internal collateral ligament of his left knee," stated Real Madrid, who did not specify how long the player will not be able to play.
The Spanish media reported that Kamavinga could be absent from the field for six to seven Sundays.
Kamavinga remained on the ground holding his left leg in training after contact with Orelijen Chuameni ahead of the European Super Cup final against Atalanta tonight from 21.00:XNUMX.
The injury is a heavy blow for the current Spanish and European champions, who may have to hire an additional midfielder after the departure of German Toni Kroos, who was not replaced.
