His Esteglal Huzestan from Avhaz defeated its namesake, the much more famous Esteglal FC from Tehran - 1:0, as the host at Gadir Stadium in the south of Iran.
Grofof Estaglal collected a point in the first two rounds - a draw and a loss, which speaks volumes for how important this victory is for the Montenegrin coach.
Esteglal Khuzestan - the popular "southern blue" - was founded only 13 years ago, last season it avoided relegation by a point - which means that Božović does not expect an easy job in Iran. It went well though...
