A great European summer in the Budućnosti jersey, an invitation to the Montenegrin national team, and a signing with the Czech giant - Vladimir Perišić is officially the new player of Slavia from Prague, the club from "Eden Arena" announced.
The Montenegrin offensive player has signed a contract with Slavia until 2028, and he will start from the "red and white" B team.
"After the youth selections, I joined the first team of Montenegro and that is a great honor for me. Now I have the chance to learn from Stevan Jovetic. I am very happy that I will play for Slavia, and with the help of the B team I will adapt to Czech football. I am looking forward to life in Prague, it's a beautiful city," Perišić told the club's website.
The club from Zlatni Grad reminded that at the start of this season Perišić hit the net twice in the qualification for the Conference League and twice in the domestic championship, as well as that he scored 22 goals last season.
"Vladimir is a very talented player who can play in several offensive positions. He has a great season which he continued in the UEFA qualifiers. In addition, at the age of twenty he was called up for the Montenegrin national team for the first time. He will start in the B team to adapt - he really is great hope for our future," said sports director Jirži Bilek.
Perišić is a child of Budućnost, whose jersey he wore (with a short episode in Koma) from the beginning of his career. His father, Goran, was the former captain of the "blue and white" team, and today he is the selector of the youth national team of Montenegro.
