The trial between former Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy and the English club due to unpaid wages will begin in October, the island's media announced.
Mendy sued "the Citizens" for a pay cut worth several million pounds after suspending him in August 2021 following the start of criminal proceedings.
Mendi was then accused of four rapes and one sexual assault.
By the time the trial began on August 10, 2022, Mendi was accused of four more rapes and one attempted rape. He was tried three times on those charges...
The court found him not guilty of all charges, and the final verdict was handed down on June 26 last year.
Mendy's contract with Manchester City expired on June 30 last year and the club did not want to extend it.
Now he is a member of the French second division team Lorien.
