Andrey Lunyin has not yet defended for Real Madrid this season, and lost his status as the first goalkeeper of the Ukrainian national team. Nevertheless, the 25-year-old goalkeeper accepted the offer of the "royal club" on a new contract until the summer of 2028.
The previous contract was valid until 2025. Lunjin signed for Real Madrid in 2018 and has already won 10 trophies with the club, including two Champions League titles and two La Liga titles.
In the last season, Lunjin was the first goalkeeper due to Tib Courtois' injury, with spectacular defenses and records, he led the team to the final of the Champions League, in which the recovered Belgian defended.
