The Spanish coach, Mikel Arteta, has extended his contract with Arsenal, the BBC writes today.
Arteta extended his cooperation with the team from London until 2027. It is expected that the extension of the cooperation will be made official by Sunday, when Arsenal will play the match of the 4th round of the Premier League with Tottenham.
Arteta joined Arsenal's bench in 2019, and previously he was in Manchester City's coaching staff under Pep Guardiola.
With Arteta on the bench, Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League, having finished the previous season in second place, two points behind Manchester City.
Arteta managed Arsenal in 235 games and recorded 139 victories.
