Budućnost fans continue to decorate the city with murals of deceased legends of the Podgorica club - this is how it is this morning, after Janko Miročević Milan Rogošić, the legendary football player and coach of Budućnosti, who passed away yesterday, also received the "consecration".
"Playing for Budućnost, that was a premium," Rogošić was quoted as saying at a building in the part of town across from Morača.
Rogošić will be remembered as a man who led many generations on the right football path.
"At the age of 17, he entered the first team of Budućnost, devoted his whole life to it, admired it, declared his love at every moment. On every step of the Podgorica cobblestones. And beyond... He proudly wore the blue and white jersey in both difficult and beautiful for years, he never thought of leaving her, he paved the way for the golden generations of our club, bequeathed years of pride and defiance, anecdotes, stories, chivalry and talent that were followed by many who reached the heights of the stars," Budućnost announced yesterday.
Rogošić spent his entire football life in Podgorica.
"For him, there was only our city and our club. His future was - a premium! And he left that as the greatest legacy to all of us. Podgorica. He was not one of the most famous names, but he was one of the biggest. A final greeting and a big thank you to our Milan Rogošić", stated the club from Podgorica.
