Barcelona paid Borussia Dortmund the entire amount for the transfer of Ousmane Dembele from the summer of 2017, which in summary with bonuses amounted to a dizzying 148 million euros.
As reported by Bild, the then director of Dortmund, Michael Cork, used the moment - the defeat of the Catalans against Real Madrid in the final of the Spanish Super Cup - to insert a number of easily achievable bonuses into the contract in the urgency of signing a top player.
Just for two placements in the Champions League with a French player in the team, Barcelona had to pay Borussia an additional 9,7 million.
As a bonus, Borussia received an additional 42 million euros from Barcelona for Dembele.
Last summer, Dembele moved from Barca to PSŽ for only 50 million euros.
