Jezero and Budućnost will close the 7th round of the Meridianbet 1st Montenegrin football league with a clash in Bijelo Polje tomorrow at 20 p.m.
The late date of the match did not sit well with Podgorica, so the club's official website states:
"The city stadium in Bijelo Polje is the expected choice, because Plavljani will play the current season right there as hosts next to Beran, but is the time of the game a bit unreasonable - 20.00:17.15 p.m.? And in the middle of summer, with the highest possible temperatures, we are against Arsenal in Tivat played at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m....".
In the last round, on the eve of the break due to national team commitments, Podgorica drew at home against Otranto, tomorrow they want to return with victories:
"Our expectations are known, regardless of the place, the opponent or the time. We want to win three new points, and what strategy we will apply, how we will play and what model we will apply - that is something we will leave within the team", said the head of the coaching staff Ivan Brnović for the club's website.
Last season, before taking over Budućnost, Brnović left Plavaljane in the Eurozone and in the finals of the Cup. He has great respect for his former club:
"Jezero is practically a new team compared to last season, but it deserves respect because it is slowly reaching a satisfactory level of results despite a slightly worse start. It won't be easy, the home team will be motivated, they play aggressively, they are solid in defense, they are dangerous in transition, they are physically fit... Because of all that, they deserve respect, but as a coach, I completely believe in my team".
Buducnost has been having trouble with Jezera lately, but that's why he "loves" the stadium in Bijelo Polje, where against Jedinstvo he has less wins...
