Former Juventus player, Giorgio Chiellini, has returned to Turin and will be the head of institutional football relations between "black and white".
Chiellini will be responsible for maintaining relationships with other clubs in Serie A and across Europe, as well as national teams.
"Chiellini never left Juventus - his heart, soul and values have always remained connected to the club, both on and off the field. He will perform his new function from September 16," the club announced.
The Italian played for Juve from 2004 to 2022, and ended his career last year.
He played 561 official games for Juventus, and won nine titles in Serie A, one in Serie B, five cups and the Italian Super Cup.
He played twice with Juventus in the final of the Champions League.
