Real Madrid soccer club announced that Moroccan player Brahim Dias injured a muscle on Saturday during the game against Real Sociedad and will be out of action for several weeks.
"After the examination carried out by the medical service of Real Madrid, our player Brahim Dias was diagnosed with an injury to the muscle (adductor) of his right leg," the Spanish club announced, without specifying how long the absence of the footballer, who also plays for the Moroccan national team, will last.
Spanish media mention an absence of at least a month.
During the match against Real Sociedad on Saturday (2:0), Dias left the field in the 23rd minute of the game holding the inner side of his right thigh.
He thus joined Eduardo Kamavinga, Aurelien Chuameni, Jude Bellingham, David Alaba and Dani Ceballos in the long list of Real Madrid first team players who are recovering from various injuries.
