Sutjeska football players have tied three matches without defeat in the domestic championship, and they will try to continue that streak tomorrow (17) - Nikšić hosts Jezero in the 8th round of the Meridianbet First Montenegrin Football League.
In the previous round, Sutjeska played the first match since the return of Milija Savović, defeating Otranto (3:1), and if they beat Plavljana, they would record their first home victory this season.
"The league is such that we must not underestimate anyone. Jezero has five points, the same as Mornar, and you saw what kind of season Mornar had in Europe. That speaks of the uniformity of quality and we have to respect that, to be aware of that. In order to win Jezero, we will need the approach from the match with Otranto, as well as the will and energy that everyone could see," Sutjeska coach Milija Savović said in the announcement of the match.
Boris Milicković, a former member of Sutjeska's coaching staff, is sitting on the Jezera bench.
"We have a good run of results - in the last three games we have recorded two wins and a draw. We are playing at home and anything but three points would be a failure. We have to go and grab the connection at the top of the table. We will do our best to register another three points ", said Nikšić's midfielder, Srđan Krstović.
