The Football Association of England (FA) accused the Montenegrin national team player, Preston player Milutin Osmajić of violent behavior because he allegedly bit the opposing player Owen Beck during the league match.
The English media are still using the word alleged, as evidence needs to be gathered that he actually bit Beck, who was sent off for kicking Osmajic's team-mate Dwayne Holmes in the same incident, during the English Second Division match at Deepdale on Sunday.
Osmajić rushed to "help" his teammate, but it seems he overdid it...
"Milutin Osmajić was charged after the match between Preston and Blackburn on Sunday, September 22. It is alleged that Osmajić behaved violently by biting an opponent in the 87th minute. Milutin Osmajić has until September 30 to respond to the charge," said the FA spokesperson. Sky reported.
Blackburn coach John Eustace said after the game that there was a bite mark on Owen's neck and that his player was a bit shaken.
Former Liverpool player Luis Suarez was suspended for 10 games in 2013 because he bit Branislav Ivanovic during a duel with Chelsea.
