The players of Manchester United convincingly lost to Tottenham yesterday (3:0) at "Old Trafford" in the 6th round of the Premier League, they continued with poor performances, but manager Erik ten Haag is not thinking of resigning.
This summer, the Dutch expert extended his cooperation with the "Devils" until 2026, but the big question is whether he will complete the mandate.
"I'm not thinking about quitting. We made a joint decision to stay together this summer, and we also agreed that we will determine what we can improve and how we can build a team with a clear review," said Ten Haag after the Spurs debacle.
After six rounds, United has seven points and is in 12th place in the table.
"We knew we would need time because of how our transfer window went. Some players, like Ugarte, came late. We also have to make a step forward in the organization due to some injuries, so we need more time," Ten Haag explained.
Ten Hague's team is visiting Aston Villa in the next round.
"We are all on the same boat together – ownership, coaching staff and players," said Ten Hag.
