It was probably his last match before the punishment, and the reaction and response were right - Milutin Osmajić with two goals led Preston to victory over Watford (3:0).
During the day, the Montenegrin attacker first accepted the accusations of the Football Association of England for violent behavior after biting Owen Beck, and then with two goals he brought his team an important three points in the Championship.
"I am impressed by his game," said his coach Paul Heckinbotham after the match, as reported by "The Guardian".
The guy from Nikšić already announced during the first half of the match at "Dipdale" that it would be his night when his header was stopped by the visitors' goalkeeper.
The goals came at the beginning of the second half - first in the 53rd minute, then in the 56th, and in both Osmajić showed his feeling for goals.
"He was very dangerous and scored goals... He worked hard and I felt he 100 per cent deserved a chance in this match. He already scored in the EFL Cup, he played well against Fulham in the FA Cup," added Hekinbotom.
As expected, the coach of Preston also talked about the possible punishment that awaits our footballer.
"I didn't want to punish him, the club and the fans twice... We'll wait and see what the decision is and how we deal with it. We don't know the outcome, but he probably won't be available for Saturday's match against Burnley," he concluded. Heckinbot.
Osmajić was deservedly declared the player of the match, and he once again paid the prize of 500 pounds to the Day Center - presumably for children with developmental disabilities and people with disabilities in his Nikšić.
