The English Football Association (FA) has launched three proceedings against Plymouth manager Wayne Rooney for using abusive language and violent behavior towards match officials.
In the match against Blackburn, Rooney earned a sending-off near the end of the match for vigorous protests at the referee.
The FA said Rooney was accused of using "offensive language" and then "inappropriate and/or violent behaviour" following the red card, plus misconduct after returning to the pitch after the match.
The former Manchester United player and England international was given a week's time to respond to the charges.
