The pioneering football team of Montenegro won the second round of the UEFA Development Tournament in Poland.
Minja Ljumović's team defeated Luxembourg 4:0.
They took the lead in the 19th minute with a goal by Nemanja Kljajević, Nikola Milačić scored in the 21st minute, and Nikola Vukoje and Luka Vušurović hit the net at the end.
In the first match, our footballers were easily defeated by Poland - 7:1.
"It is difficult to come back after a heavy defeat in the first match, where we did not deserve such a result, which at this age is not really in the foreground. It is more important to create a healthy selection for the years to come. Today I asked the boys to improve the impression, to be more aggressive in the game, better in the end, and of course, better defensively. During the entire match, we dictated the rhythm, we were better in all segments, which paid off in the end," said coach Minja Ljumović.
In the third round of the tournament, scheduled for October 20 at 10 a.m., Montenegro will meet Latvia.
Our team played in the composition of: Simon Sošić, Uroš Samardžić, Boris Janjušević, Amar Suljević, Pavle Radusinović (from 46. Pavle Jovović), Stefan Pejović (from 62. Nikola Vukoje), Mihailo Radović (from 69. Luka Vušurović), Nikola Milačić (from 62. Aleksa Caušević ), Nemanja Kljajević (from 62. Miloš Laković), Radomir Milić (from 82. Uroš Jošanović), Andrija Pavićević (from 69. Danilo Kisić).
