Italian football player, Mario Balotelli was in Genoa today, for medical examinations ahead of his transfer to the club of the same name.
Balotelli, who is a free agent, is expected to sign a contract with Genoa until the end of the season.
"I really don't want to talk much, I want to play. I hope to be ready soon," Balotelli told reporters as he entered Genoa's medical facility.
Last season, Balotelli scored seven goals in 16 games for Turkish Adana Demispor, and he last played in Italy in the 2020/21 season for Monca.
Balotelli (34) played for 11 clubs in his career, including Milan, Manchester City, Liverpool and Inter, with whom he won the Champions League in 2010.
With the Italian national team, for which he played 36 games and scored 14 goals, Balotelli won a silver medal at the European Championship in 2012 and was selected for the best team of the competition.
Genoa occupies the 18th place in the Serie A table with six points, and in the next round on Thursday they welcome Fiorentina.
