It looks like Manchester United have found a manager.
Ruben Amorim came to the fore earlier today, and now the confirmation has arrived from Sporting - the giant from Lisbon announced that he has communication with the leaders of the "red devils" who replaced Erik ten Haag yesterday.
The Portuguese is one step away from "Old Trafford", only confirmation is awaited, because all three parties are ready for an agreement.
Amorim gave a positive answer when he received the invitation, and then he left everything to Sporting, who are demanding 10 million euros in compensation to let go of one of the most talented coaches today.
United have not advertised, and may not until they promote Amorima. Thus, the English media state that the club hopes that the new manager could be on the bench already on Sunday when Chelsea arrives at the "Theater of Dreams" in the 10th round of the Premier League.
Amorim is 39 years old, and has won two Portuguese championship titles with Sporting since he arrived at the club in 2020.
