Future under Gorica welcomes Jezero, which is the only Saturday match (14 p.m.) of the 16th round of the Meridianbet 1st Montenegrin Football League.
The other matches on the program are on Sunday, and they are: Arsenal - Mornar (13.30:14.30 p.m.), Dečić Admiralbet - Jedinstvo (15:15 p.m.), Petrovac - Bokelj SBBet (XNUMX) and Sutjeska - Otrant-Olympic (XNUMX).
Ivan Brnović's team is first with five points more than the second-placed Petrovac and they have a chance to increase their lead on Saturday.
"We never looked at the table, we won't now either. We are not interested in that, because we know that Jezero has the quality to make any team suffer in the championship. We are focused as if it is the biggest possible derby, because we know that we have a new difficult game ahead of us, because Budućnost is the biggest challenge for all opponents," says stopper Adnan Orahovac for the club's website.
Jezero is last in the table, with one point less than the penultimate Otranto.
"We are playing at home, we will have the support of the fans, we are only interested in three points and it is our turn to go to the break as Budućnost deserves - with a win and in a good mood," adds Orahovac.
In the last round against Otranto, the "Blues" came back with victories after two straight defeats, and they are playing against a team that has often been able to surprise under Gorica in recent years.
Now they are led by the former coach of Budućnosti, Miodrag Džudović.
"Jezero has a young team supplemented by a couple of experienced players, and with the change of coach they got something new, which was seen against Otranto, against Jedinstvo, and against Dečić. It is definite that they can play with everyone, and we often struggled with them, and that should make us extra careful, but also be an extra motivation for us. They also influenced our championship race last year, just like a couple of seasons ago when I wasn't there, but of course I followed as a fan," said Orahovac, who made his 100th appearance in the Budućnosti jersey in the last round.
"For me, it represents a great honor, pleasure and obligation. I grew up in the club, made a transfer from the club, I'm here again - to give my best at every moment and help as much as I can", concludes the 33-year-old stopper.
