The women's cadet football team of Montenegro lost to Slovakia in the third round of group B1 of the first round of qualification for the European Championship.
The home team won 3:0 and inflicted the third defeat on our team.
Emili Suhonova gave Slovakia the advantage after three minutes of play, and Sara Kerešova scored for 2:0 in the 19th minute.
Later on, Terezija Soltisova also hit the net.
"Against the strongest team in the group, the girls gave their best. That was enough only for an honorable defeat. "Slovakia once again confirmed their status as favorites and deservedly won," said coach Mirko Marić.
At the tournament, Montenegro also lost to Latvia 4:1 and Georgia 2:1.
Montenegro played in the composition of: Senita Kalač, Azra Orahovac, Jana Merdović, Elda Bralić, Iris Dizdarević (73. Tijana Džankić), Andrea Bućković, Aleka Balević (89. Jovana Radović), Ana Vlahović, Angelina Drešaj (73. Sara Tadić), Darija Čižek (70. Tajra Tahlović), Ena Spahić (46. Azra Duraković).
