Just when it seemed that nothing could come as a surprise when it comes to English fiddle referees, a new scandal has surfaced. And a serious one at that.
The refereeing body of the Premier League (PGMOL) announced that it has suspended David Coote because a video appeared on social networks in which this referee is allegedly present and during which he speaks insulting words to Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool.
"Klopp is a German pi***, and Liverpool is a sr***," he said, among other things, in the video Kut, as reported by "The Guardian".
The video was recorded by one of Kuto's enemies, and it was allegedly created after the 2020 match when Liverpool played with Brighton (1:1), when the then coach of the "Reds" criticized this referee.
"Klopp accused me of lying and I really didn't want to talk to someone who is **** arrogant. I really do my best not to talk to him during matches," added Kut in the video.
In the end, the conclusion of his friend, who was filming everything, arrived.
"Everybody in Liverpool is a f***ing fool and we hate Scousers (a nickname for Liverpool residents)".
Interestingly, on Saturday evening, Kut managed the match between Liverpool and Aston Villa at "Anfield" and did the match perfectly.
Whether the video was a joke with friends that will have severe consequences or something else, it seems that the English referee is in for a severe punishment.
