Is she ready to make a step forward compared to the previous four matches in which she lost to Iceland, twice to Wales and Turkey - that is another question that will be answered only on Saturday when the "brave Falcons" play the penultimate match in 2024.

"We have a little more time to prepare before the last two games and we want to improve our impression and end this year in the right way," says left back Andrija Vukčević.

"Two interruptions and two goals, that's how we were defeated. Iceland is a good team, there are several good individuals who play in serious clubs. It won't be easy even now, but we are the hosts and we have to win - a victory would mean a lot to us, we would also raise our confidence before the duel with Turkey. As long as there are chances - we will fight", said Vukčević.
The series of defeats, which has been going on since the beginning of June, creates additional pressure - Montenegro is not used to such a series and wants to end it, even though it will be weakened again.

"After so many failures, there is pressure, but also a motive to turn around the situation we are in." We will be weakened again, but that is nothing new. I think that we didn't play a single game completely, maybe that's why we regret it, because maybe everything would have been different in this cycle if we had the strongest team.
