The Portuguese took over Manchester United and decided that there was no room for club legend Rudo van Nistelrooy in his coaching staff.
The former striker arrived at the club this summer at the invitation of Erik ten Haag, and led the "red devils" in four games after the former Ajax coach was fired.

Thus, the English media reported that captain Bruno Fernandes asked the people from the club for Van Nistelrooy to remain in the coaching staff. However, that did not happen, and three more Dutchmen from Ten Haag's tenure left the club.

Van Nistelroj signed a two-year contract this summer, and now he will probably dedicate himself to his independent career again after being on the PSV bench from May 2022 to May 2023.
