"The fact is that we are in a result crisis, but a deeper analysis would take more time. Better days will come, but when - that's the question," said midfielder Marko Janković, who played his 50th match for the national team against Iceland.
"We try to get a good result in every game. There are many injuries, we are never at full strength. We gave our best in every game, the result was absent and nobody is happy - especially us players and the coaching staff", pointed out Janković.

"We are not apostrophizing the story that we will qualify, nor are we promising anything like that. The players don't do that, and I don't know about the others, I think it comes more from the public and our fans, who have such expectations. In my opinion, it is quite unrealistic. We need to look at the situation objectively, but all these teams in the B League of Nations are better than us at the moment and we have not been able to match their current quality. Will it get better in the future? I hope they will. That is our goal and we will strive for it," said the Karabagh football player from Baku.
There is one more match left, one more chance to win a point or points.
"It is up to us to give our best and try to achieve a good result. Turkey has a calculation, in my opinion it deserves to be in the A League of Nations. That is the goal of the Turks, they will be maximally motivated, and it will be difficult for us because it is a specific moment," said Janković.
He also referred to the jubilee in the national team jersey.
"I always wanted to make my debut for the national team. And to play 50 games - I couldn't even imagine that. I am only 29 years old, I hope that I will be able to play for a long time, I am very happy, but that is on the second plan, we have to concentrate on Turkey", concluded Janković.
