"Buducnost" dedicated the victory against Unity France in Bijelo Polje to Dragan Grivić, whose mother passed away, said the "blue" coach Ivan Brnović.
"Our thoughts are with him and his family," said Brnović after the match.
With yesterday's triumph, Buducnost escaped second-placed Petrovac by six points and comfortably enters the very end of the autumn half-season.
"We scored three important points against a strong opponent and with the victory we restored peace and stability. We played a good, but above all team match, and the quality balance of younger and older players was visible and translated through the goals scored," said Brnović.
Petar Grbić and Milan Vukotić brought victory to the Podgorica team with goals.
"I congratulate Jedinstva on a brave game, they had two or three distinct chances and showed quality, while we missed a large number of opportunities in addition to scoring two goals. Special congratulations go to my players, they deserve all the praise," said Brnović at the end.
Budućnost already visits Petrovac on Wednesday in a back-to-back match and has a chance to "close" the championship with a victory.
