Savo Milošević led the Partizan players for only eight games.
His second term on the bench in Humska ended today, and the club confirmed what the media wrote - that Milosevic resigned after disagreements with Working Group member Predrag Mijatović.
Namely, the Montenegrin legend suggested to Milošević who should play in the position of left back (Nikola Antić before Marko Kerkez).
"After the match in which Partizan defeated Jedinstvo from Ub, Predrag Mijatović had a conversation with coach Milošević. On that occasion, various topics were touched upon, including the debut performance of Marko Kerkez, who entered the game in the 60th minute. Bearing in mind the context in which the aforementioned player was brought in during the summer transfer window, the opinion of the sports sector is that his performance sends the wrong message to the public and fans, leaving the impression of a continuation of practices that are not in line with the values and credibility of a big club like Partizan. As the reason for his resignation, coach Milošević stated his desire to protect his personal integrity and independence in decision-making," announced Partizan.
Who will succeed Milosevic? The fifth coach of the "black and white" in 2024 (after Igor Duljaj, Albert Nag, Aleksandar Stanojević and Milošević) should be Saša Ilić.
"The club's priority at the moment is the appointment of a temporary head of the coaching staff from the existing coaching staff, who will lead the first team in the next two games. "At the same time, the club has started the process of electing a new head of the coaching staff," the announcement states.
