Since September 21, Nikola Krstović's goal-scoring fast in the Leće jersey has been going on, and it ended at the cult venue - the Roman "Olimpic" in a convincing defeat against Roma (4:1).
The Montenegrin forward scored his third goal in Serie A this season from a penalty kick which he executed perfectly - he checked Mile Svilar and in the 40th minute brought his team an equaliser.
That penalty was almost everything that Leće did in the Eternal City (it was forced by Lasana Koulibaly) until the 65th minute, because the "wolf" before and after it dominated, created chances...
That's how they took the lead in the 13th minute through Alexis Salemakers, and then in the 59th minute they regained the lead when Gianluca Mancini sent a header into the net.
In the 66th, Nikolo Pizili also scored for 3:1 and it was clear that Leće did not have the strength to return to the game a second time.
The final score was set by Manu Kone in the 86th minute, so Claudio Ranieri registered his first victory after returning to the Roma bench - this was his fourth match, after two in Serie A (defeats against Napoli and Atalanta) and one in the Europa League (draw with Tottenham).
