Mohamed Salah's contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the season, the Egyptian previously said that he wanted to stay at the club, and now the "Reds" have taken a step towards that goal.
As "The Athletic" reported last night, Liverpool offered Salah a new contract. The details are not known, but the media on the Island previously wrote that Salah asked for a three-year contract, while the management of the Reds offered a one-year contract.
Apart from Salah, new contracts were previously offered to Virgil van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold, as their contracts also expire at the end of the season.
Liverpool must finish the job as soon as possible, because Salah, Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold can negotiate with other clubs from the first of January, since their contracts expire at the end of the season.
