Although he missed the previous two national team meetings, Kylian Mbappe said that he is committed to playing for the French national football team.
Mbappe missed the October matches due to an injury, and then, for no clear reason, he was omitted from the list in the November cycle as well.
"I have always said that there is nothing more important than playing for the national team. My love for the national team has not changed," said Mbape.
Mbape played 86 games for the French national team, and with the "tricolors" he won the World Cup in Russia in 2018, while four years later he scored a hat-trick in the final in Qatar against Argentina.
"I can't talk about what happened in November, because it was the coach's decision. I respect his decision, because he is the boss," said Mbappe.
Mbappe scored 48 goals in the national team jersey, but only one in competitive matches in 2024. He did not shine at the Euros in Germany.
"I was tired at the European Championship. I wanted to play for the national team, but it was exhausting. In the NBA, players rest for four months, and we only have two weeks to rest," Mbape commented.
Mbappe scored 21 goals in 12 games this season in the Real jersey.
