The former selector of the youth football team of Montenegro, Goran Perišić, will be the selector of the youth team for the next two years, it was announced after the session of the Executive Committee of the Football Association of Montenegro (IO FSCG).
Perišić succeeded Nikola Rakojević on the bench of the youth national team, and during his career he also led the cadet national team of Montenegro. With the youth team, he reached the elite round of qualification for the European Championship, the last time at the end of November at the tournament in Greece.
"For the next two years, the youth (U-21) national team will be led by Goran Perišić, who in recent years has successfully led the youth (U-19) and cadet (U-17) national teams of Montenegro. Perišić will replace Nikola Rakojević on the bench of the young national team." , it is stated in the announcement on the website of the Association.
Nenad Vukčević will succeed Perišić on the bench of the youth national team.
"Leading the youth national team was entrusted to Nenad Vukčević, a 50-year-old expert who takes the position of selector after working in the youth national team, domestic and foreign clubs," said the Association.
Radovan Kavaja will be the coach of the cadet (U-17) national team next year, while Vladan Savić, former international player in Serbia and Hungary, will replace Minja Ljumović as the coach of the pioneer (U-15) national team. In previous years, Savić worked in the first team and youth selections of Budućnost.
The contracts with the selector of the women's national team, Mirko Marić, and the selector of the futsal national team, Svet Ljesar, will be extended.
