The passing of the legend of Mostar football - Vladimir Skočajić Taramba, one of the best football players from Velež, died at the age of 70.
It will be remembered that he won two Cups of the former Yugoslavia with Velež, and after the war he was a youth coach of Zrinjski.
He made his debut in the Velež jersey in the 1978/79 season, and played for the Mostar club until 1987, with the exception of a shorter engagement in Greece, where he played for Apollon.
He is the only Velež player, along with Vladimir Matijević, who won the Yugoslav Cup twice - in 1981 and 1986.
He scored 48 goals in 153 games for "born".
