Scottish football expert Russell Martin is no longer coach of Southampton, the club announced today.
Martin was sacked after his side were beaten 5-0 by Tottenham at home on Sunday.
Southampton is in the last, 20th place of the English Premier League with five points won.
In the past 16 games in the championship, Southampton recorded 13 defeats, two draws and one victory.
Martin (38) took over at Southampton at the start of last season, and managed to win promotion to the Premier League.
